I installed on my daughters 2019 qx50 and it works great. The video link included with the shipment helped tremendously. It probably took me a couple hours to install and it has worked great ever since.

I just had the Unavi Apple Car Play Module installed today in my 2019 Infiniti QX60 by Audio Excellence in Oviedo, FL. The unit and the installation and training were absolutely flawless. The unit works perfectly and I did not lose any standard functions. Game changer from having to use WAZE on my iPhone in the cup holder. Highly recommend. I almost installed myself but so glad I had the professionals do it.

Great system. Customer service was excellent. Communication was very timely, usually within minutes. Very little help needed. It’s all in the videos. I installed it in my garage. Following the steps in the video. My only problem: when I am in CarPlay and a phone call comes in, it’s received with no problem. When I hang up the phone, The audio has to be switched back to CarPlay. I’m not sure why it doesn’t stay in CarPlay to begin with. After looking at another Audi review this might require me shutting off the car Bluetooth. I will check with UNAVI support to be sure. I simply go to the phone and change from Bluetooth to CarPlay to put it back. For some reason the audio (music) will have to be put back to CarPlay after you end the call.

Switching between MMI and CarPlay is very easy. It’s nice having all functions (MMI) remain intact. Awesome upgrade for someone looking to upgrade. It’s definitely worth it.

Editing review: I have changed this from a 3 star review to a 4 Star: this company is top notch! They read my 3 star review and reached out regarding the audio trouble within 24 hours. They contacted me by text and we solved the problem within 15-20 min. CarPlay no longer switches / changes audio source after ending phone call. The solution is turning off the aux audio source on MMI and only using Bluetooth source in the Audi MMI. In CarPlay settings select use cars Bluetooth channel under settings. Thank you Jay for the extra effort to put this over the top! The hype is real, you guys stand behind and support your products, excellent service.

I finally have CarPlay on my infi. Works well so far. Pro Installer in Englewood CO, did a great job. Oscar and Jeff took good care during install. Few gaps in functionality as others have noted, especially microphone can not be started from the steering wheel since this is not a stock OEM. Unavi text support very responsive. Hopefully the system will last a long time.

My 2015 Macan S has been significantly enhanced with the addition of CarPlay, a feature I had long envied in newer models. This update has reinvigorated my affection for my Macan, which, with merely 42,000 miles on the odometer, was overdue for such an improvement.

Initially, I was skeptical about the upgrade but opted to give it a chance. The prompt and helpful interactions with the Korean technical support team, along with Pedro from Orange County, California—who ultimately performed the installation at my residence in the Los Angeles area—alleviated my concerns.

With CarPlay installed, accessing the Macan's PCM system is still possible, but frankly, it becomes almost unnecessary unless there's a need to adjust specific vehicle settings. Conveniently, the system runs via the AUX port, allowing easy toggling back to the PCM when required.

I'm immensely grateful for this device. It has not only enhanced my driving experience but also brought a new level of enjoyment to my time with my Macan.

Product is working great and I have not had any problems.
