The USB Mount Conversion Extension Cable for CarPlay is an optional accessory that can be installed with UNAVI Android Auto / Apple CarPlay to extend the CarPlay USB cable to the armrest compartment and replace the original 12 Volt Cigar Charging Port.
The USB Mount Conversion Extension Cable allows for the CarPlay USB port to be hidden in the armrest compartment and provides a more OEM-look to the port, making it seem like it is part of the car. For wired Android Auto / Apple CarPlay connection to the UNAVI system, customers must connect their phone to the CarPlay USB port or this USB Mount Conversion Extension Cable port.

So this was a really great experience- there we knowledgable people that were easy to get in touch with……. I am impressed with the product- and wish i had done this several years ago for my wife….. the Nissan system is a bit clunky and i am not crazy about all the audio Via Bluetooth- but once i was able to get it up and running- i had very few issues with the CarPlay system….and the ones that are there are pretty easily navigated!!
Worked great and made the installation look like it was factory.
So excited with this purchase!!
Thank you for making such a device... I haven't even scratched the surface on its capabilities, but so far, I love it! A must-have if you have an older Nissan infotainment system.
