The USB Mount Conversion Extension Cable for CarPlay is an optional accessory that can be installed with UNAVI Android Auto / Apple CarPlay to extend the CarPlay USB cable to the armrest compartment and replace the original 12 Volt Cigar Charging Port.
The USB Mount Conversion Extension Cable allows for the CarPlay USB port to be hidden in the armrest compartment and provides a more OEM-look to the port, making it seem like it is part of the car. For wired Android Auto / Apple CarPlay connection to the UNAVI system, customers must connect their phone to the CarPlay USB port or this USB Mount Conversion Extension Cable port.

Thank you for making such a device... I haven't even scratched the surface on its capabilities, but so far, I love it! A must-have if you have an older Nissan infotainment system.

Works but a bit clunky. Can't switch to a different phone without shutting off all bt and wifi on your other phone.

I don’t recommend this for everybody, but, I watched her YouTube videos. I looked at it and said I could do this, well after about an hour and a half. I did it. It worked great and I’m proud to say I saved the fortune by not having to pay an installer
So this was a really great experience- there we knowledgable people that were easy to get in touch with……. I am impressed with the product- and wish i had done this several years ago for my wife….. the Nissan system is a bit clunky and i am not crazy about all the audio Via Bluetooth- but once i was able to get it up and running- i had very few issues with the CarPlay system….and the ones that are there are pretty easily navigated!!

Works good with 2018 q50
Works great with my 2020 QX60 infiniti.
Bought the Extension because I wanted to extend into my driver arm rest.
Removed the top 12V power outlet and used a Dremel to carve a slight bigger hole. Fit like a glove.
Really really like it. Unless you knew anything about the car you might believe it was stock equipment.
I installed the Infiniti CarPlay unit back in January of 2021 and have been using the system ever since. Recently, I damaged the USB cable and contacted UNAVI for support with this specialty cable. They not only gave me the cable, but also the USB mount conversion free of charge to prevent reoccurrence, as long as I paid for shipping. Great customer service and would recommend to anyone.
