UNAVI Factory-Fit 10.25" / 12.3" Touch Screen Upgrade for 2014-2021 BMW 4 Series | Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto (NBT / EVO)

I like that I was able to put in this CarPlay upgrade in my 2019 Pathfinder. The video was more helpful than the actual installation instructions. Those instructions really need to be updated and written better with clearer pictures. The instructions on using CarPlay with the OEM system could also use some work.

While I understand that electronics are never cheap, $600 for this kit is still a bit pricey. If it wasn’t for self-install I wouldn’t have gotten it.

Installation was surprisingly easy in my 15 Esclade. The link to directions were not specific to the Esclade but rather Cadillacs of the year in general. Thankfully they had a video that showed most of the steps. After a bit of guesswork I was able to get it all set up, the wired usb and microphone tucked away completely stock looking. Wireless car play fired right up and hooked up to my phone no problem. Sound quality is as good as stock. I’d highly recommend, especially considering it’s half the price of the infotainment system.

Easy installation. Read the manual and watched an installation video, and went to work. Very straightforward. Works great and wife is very happy!

I installed this on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 in Japan. The system works perfectly and the display is beautiful.
I am especially impressed with Daniel's exceptional support. Although it was initially on backorder, he found stock and arranged shipping from Korea, so it arrived in just a few days. His professionalism is a model for any business owner.

The installation was done at "Jeep Expert Center" in Honmoku, Yokohama. They were impressed with the quality and said many other Japanese Jeep owners would want this too. Highly recommended!

Works great! Seemless and easy to install!

I was expecting a long, complicated install, but after watching a few videos and going through the manual I decided to go for it yesterday evening. Lots of connectors to deal with on the factory radio, and a very tight fit, but to my amazement, it started up and worked flawlessly. Truly "plug-and-play". Everything is working using Carplay exactly as I would expect it to on a new car. Can't wait to take a long roadtrip and have maps and traffic on the main display again (Acura ended support for XM traffic on this model) and access to my music and podcasts without having to fiddle with my phone. Great product, UNAVI!

Great product. I had it installed on my 2017 Mercedes GLC300 and it is great. Can you imagine a Mercedes where navigation was useless and this car play adapter was a great add on. Too bad Mercedes did not have touch screen and if it had that would have been superb.

Let's start with installation, it is not easy but they have a great video and Pdf to help. Carplay itself is flawless. Easy connectivity. I 100% recommend this over any other option.
2014 Infiniti Q70.

Got my unit installed about 3 weeks ago at Cazillia Audio here in Pittsburgh and the unit works quite well in my Acura TLX SH-AWD.

I recently had an older module installed back in 2022 with all the Apple updates. there seemed to be some issues that were starting to develop so I reached out to one of the Customer Service personnel and and they informed me that was a upgraded version luckily for me I did listen and purchased the new unit
This unit works great so many improvements. I can’t list them. The quality of the sound the display the functionality all of it is just snapping across the screen. It works great. I must say other than my car. This is one of my more intelligent purchases

This product is great when it is working. We struggled with it at first. Then it worked great for 9 months and now we are back to a black screen all together although the back up camera finally works all the time.Unavi has responded immediately to all issues which is why they get 4 stars!!!Aftermarket’s are difficult and none have been smooth but when this works I love it and when it doesn’t well . . .

I love my Mini Cooper S but mine just happened to have been manufactured a year before Mini included CarPlay in their cars, so when I came upon Unavi, I wasn't expecting a very native experience, at least not like the type of experience in a rental car with built-in CarPlay. I was wonderfully mistaken. Granted, my car doesn't have a touchscreen but the CarPlay functions perfectly fine with my iDrive controller and switching from CarPlay to the Mini's own Infotainment system just requires a long push of the Menu button. Apps function natively and seamlessly in both wired and wireless connections and Unavi's customer service was able to assist me via text messages in getting the unit updated to the latest OS to work even better. Depending on the car you have, there may be some very minor inconveniences you may encounter when trying to use Siri or voice commands or other functions that would ordinarily work properly in a native CarPlay system but again, VERY MINOR compared to the functionality and ease of use this product affords. The unit also comes with an easily accessible menu of options (the Home App on CarPlay) which contains even more functions at your disposal. Installation was performed at one of their authorized installers here in Orlando (which was very reasonably priced and easy to book right off this website, HUGE plus) and about one week in I have to admit the entire experience has been phenomenal. I highly recommend not just this product but this company.

Bought the unit July of 2023 because I needed CarPlay on this car to make it more convenient for my daughter to navigate using her iPhone.
More than 2 years now and it’s still working great!
A little annoying sometimes to switch between the factory screen to CarPlay at first but you’ll get the hang of it.

I ordered my wireless Apple CarPlay upgrade from Unavi USA, and it came with clear DIY instructions so I was able to install it myself. Everything works flawlessly, I kept all my original vehicle features, and it looks factory-installed. Their customer support was amazing — quick, friendly, and super helpful. Highly recommend!

I had the UNAVI CarPlay system and a backup camera installed in my 2011 Mercedes C300 with the COMAND screen, and it delivers every CarPlay feature I wanted. The interface is smooth, responsive, and integrates perfectly with my car. Their customer service was exceptional—they walked both me and my installer through the troubleshooting process step-by-step until everything worked flawlessly. I’m glad I chose UNAVI over other similar products available internationally—having US-based support made a big difference, and they were always prompt in responding to my questions. My only minor gripes are that making or receiving calls is a bit clunky since it has to be done through the factory Bluetooth alongside CarPlay, and that it doesn’t magically make the screen a touchscreen—the COMAND knob still needs to be used for navigation. Both are small trade-offs for how well everything else works. Highly recommend!

Installed it in my 2007 S600 Mercedes that I have had since new and it is perfect just like the wireless CarPlay in my Infiniti. I am more than satisfied it’s worth twice the price to me.

Once i was told to use the C-class video my installation was off to the races. I had a hiccup in setting the dip switches (check them), also getting the bayonet connector to fully seat on the back of the radio unit took some effort. Once installed the system works great. I wish the touchpad would be enabled but i have gotten used to using the wheel to get around.
