Great product and timely supportive team.

I was so disappointed when I bought a car only to realize that it doesn’t have Apple car play. I almost returned the car because of it. Then I discovered unavi through researching alternatives and it had great reviews. So I took the plunge and ordered. It did not disappoint. It works great! The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because for a while I couldn’t get Siri to read my text messages through unavi loud enough to where I can hear them.

I did a search looking for the system that most closely resembles the original factory equipment and experience for CarPlay for my 2012 Audi Q5. ChatGPT mentioned that this product was slightly more expensive but much more like the original CarPlay experience you expect which is exactly what I wanted. I ordered what I thought was the right version, however, the company emailed me back immediately wanting to confirm which model I needed based upon my car’s software version, which turned out to be the same one I ordered anyway, but the fact that they reached out to confirm is great. I installed it myself using their instructions and it worked just like any other Apple product, you turn it on and it just works. Very, very satisfied, thank you for making a great product.

Purchased for my 2015 QX70. Installation was straightforward. The instructions weren't perfect (some of the photos and descriptions didn't fit what I was doing), but similar to all Nissan electronic connections, each has a unique shape and size, so it's not difficult to figure out what goes where.

I didn't have a suitable place to install the control module in my QX70 - they indicated it would fit on the center hump under the ashtray, but that area was already occupied. If the cables had been 50% longer, I could have run the control module to the bottom section of the armrest/center console. I ended up attaching it behind the glove box for now, and I assume I'll find a better solution at some point.

There was an opportunity to repurpose the factory USB connector that's in the center console for the new unit. A cable that adapts the USB cable to the Infiniti 4-pin plug would work beautifully.

Overall, a very nice piece of kit that I highly recommend.
